ETHICS UPDATE: Everything Old is New Again
December MCLE: The new Rules of Professional Conduct went into November 1, 2018. The old rules have been entirely replaced and renumbered consistent with the ABA’s Model Rules of Professional Conduct. This presentation will highlight some of the changes that will impact everyday practice. California lawyers can locate a complete set of the new rules on the State Bar website.

Ms. Eppright is a partner with Andre, Morris & Buttery. She has been practicing law for 25 years and specializes in employment litigation, counseling, and workplace investigations.
Ms. O'Leary is a senior associate with the Federman Law Firm, where she practices subrogation, personal injury, and workers' compensation. She is in her ninth year practicing law and also has specialized in medical malpractice, toxic tort, insurance coverage, and landlord-tenant disputes. Ms. O'Leary is a zealous advocate for the brain tumor community and works with numerous organizations including the American Association for Cancer Research and the National Brain Tumor Society.
Ms. Wheeler is a Deputy District Attorney for San Luis Obispo County and has practiced law as a prosecutor for nearly 6 years. She has held a variety of positions as a prosecutor including juvenile prosecutions, early resolution court prosecutions, misdemeanor, and criminal prosecutions. She recently completed two years of prosecuting exclusively intimate partner violence, including serious and violent crimes.
