February MCLE: Join us for a constitutional refresher, where Collette Hillier will discuss the stories of those involved in well-known (and lesser-known) Supreme Court cases that shaped our civil rights. (Hint: Who solidified our right to free speech? Who argued that alternate theories of evolution were not evil? And gave us our fixed star in our constitutional constellation? Or moved President Eisenhower to require the state of Arkansas to obey the Supreme Court in affirming that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land?)
The Women Lawyers Association of San Luis Obispo is a California State Bar approved MCLE provider. This program qualifies for one (1.0) hour of General MCLE credit.
This event can be attended either in person or via Zoom
