October MCLE: Join Austin McDaniel of McDaniel Reporting as he provides an examination of the current state of court reporting in California.
This MCLE will discuss recent developments affecting court reporting, including the impact that voice writers have had on the field as well as additional measures that could be taken to further enable access to reporting services.
The Women Lawyers Association of San Luis Obispo is a California State Bar approved MCLE provider. This program qualifies for one (1.0) hour of General MCLE credit.

OUR SPEAKER:
Austin McDaniel
Austin McDaniel has been presiding over McDaniel Reporting since 2023, having witnessed several important changes to the reporting field in the country, state, and San Luis Obispo County over his time there. Mr. McDaniel handles general operations of the company but is primarily responsible for reporter scheduling and client relations. Additionally, he is currently a voice writing student working towards his own Court Reporter License.

The day before the event, WLA will email all registered attendees CLE handouts, and the Zoom link for those attending remotely.
Payment Information:
$45.00 for non-members
$35.00 for WLA members and CCPA members
$15.00 for Students
Lunches will be provided for in-person participants. Vegetarian options will be available.
All proceeds will go toward the WLA scholarship fund and the other worthy events hosted by the WLA.
