September MCLE: Bills! Bills! Bills! How to Bill Ethically and Keep Your Clients Happy
at People's Self-Help Housing or via Zoom
1060 Kendall Road, Room 148, SLO, CA 93401
Lunch Provided for In-Person Participants
September 2025 MCLE: Join Carmel & Naccasha's Victor Herrera and Emilie de la Motte in discussing best practices in writing your billing entries. Mr. Herrera will discuss legal and ethical requirements for California attorneys to secure court-awarded fees. Ms. de la Motte will provide an interactive discussion in proper billing language so the court (and your client!) feels comfortable that your fees are warranted, necessary, and reasonable. Effective billing entries make clients appreciate your work and more likely to promptly pay. This is a great lunch to invite firm paralegals, certified law students, and other billers at your firm to learn these important tools.
The Women Lawyers Association of San Luis Obispo is a California State Bar approved MCLE provider. This program qualifies for one (1.0) hour of MCLE - Legal Ethics credit.
This event can be attended either in person or via Zoom
